Interview takeaways
For event hosts, tracking attendees and what their roles are at events can be incredibly difficult. We must aim to make that process as simple as possible.
Social media integration (i.e. LinkedIn, X, Instagram, etc.) can be a beneficial means of staying connected with other attendees after events.
Attendee data must be accessible and easy to digest; this can benefit event hosts in making data driven decisions when hosting or bettering their events.
Event attendees often struggle when determining who to network with at professional events. A roster of attendees with their names, roles and professional affiliations can help alleviate this pain point.

“Hosting events, tracking attendees and staying organized in that context can be really difficult.”

Meet George Ardis See All Personas
George is a seasoned event manager who lives for those "aha!" moments when attendees connect. He's hunting for tools that cut through networking awkwardness and deliver measurable results—because in his world, successful events aren't just about filling seats, but creating conversations that continue long after the last coffee cup is cleared.
Goals
Utilize data in order to optimize future events that they are hosting.
Maximize the amount of people attending events and interacting with one another.
Paint Points
Low attendee engagement – Many guests struggle to initiate conversations or feel awkward without clear guidance or structure.
Ineffective matchmaking – Without tools or data, it's hard to connect the right people based on goals, interests, or industries.
Uneven participation – Some attendees dominate discussions while others are left out, leading to unbalanced experiences.
Lack of post-event insights – Hosts rarely know which connections were made or how successful the networking actually was.

“I struggle to find and connect with new people at events. It’s often too overwhelming, an app dedicated to making it easier would definitely be great.”
Meet Patty Tsraeh See All Personas
Patty is an introverted social media wizard who crafts perfect captions all day but freezes when faced with real-life networking. She attends industry events armed with business cards and good intentions, yet often leaves with both intact. She's seeking a low-pressure way to connect with like-minded professionals that doesn't involve awkward small talk or the dreaded "work the room" approach.
Goals
Finding a low-pressure way to form meaningful industry connections without the anxiety of traditional networking.
Building her professional circle to advance her career opportunities while honoring her introverted nature.
Paint Points
Feels overwhelmed and drained – Traditional networking environments often favor extroverts, leaving her exhausted and less likely to engage.
Struggles to initiate conversations – Despite having valuable insights, she finds it hard to break the ice or insert herself into ongoing discussions.
Loses connections after events – Brief interactions rarely lead to meaningful follow-ups, making it hard to build lasting relationships.
Can't comfortably showcase her expertise – Face-to-face settings make it difficult for her to “sell herself” or articulate her strengths.

Most networking events fall short—attendees leave with a stack of business cards but few meaningful connections. Hosts, meanwhile, struggle to deliver real value beyond the venue.
Linkberry solves this by using AI to match attendees based on shared goals and interests—before, during, and after events. For hosts, it provides tools to boost engagement, track interactions, and prove ROI with real connection data.

Leading design on the MVP for Linkberry was a great experience. I was able to work on everything from site mapping and user flows to user research and persona creation, along with creating weekly sprints, holding stand ups
It was exciting to collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders in a fast-paced, sprint-based environment. Working together across disciplines to bring the product to life.
Although my time with Linkberry wrapped up after the building the MVP, I’m proud of what we built, and I see exciting potential for the product to grow—with smarter AI recommendations, and deeper personalization.
I learned a lot throughout the process—about product thinking, team collaboration, and designing with intention. I’m excited to see where Linkberry goes from here and truly hope the team continues to grow and succeed!
